Tonights [Wednesday] under 11 friendly against Calry Bohemians has been re-scheduled for saturday at 1pm in Calry due to a request by Calry. All players are asked to be at strandhill church at 12pm on saturday or to contact John McGovern if travelling direct. The squad for saturdays game will be notified by text of their selection.

Training continues for all under 12's tonight at strandhill community park at 6:30pm.

Our under 18 squad had a bright opening to their campaign with a comprehensive victory over a gallant glenview stars side.

Strand Celtic under 12 had their first outing of the season with a good competitive game against an excellent Ballisodare side.

A new fence has been installed at our grounds as part of our development programme around  our main flagship pitch.

Our major golf classic is in Strandhill golf club on this Friday, 22nd august. There are a small number of tee times left and we would ask anyone interested to contact the golf club on 071 9168725 as soon as possible. We are also looking for a final few tee sponsors and anyone interested can contact any member of the committee.

All parents, members, supporters, sponsors and friends are invited to a complimentary evening in strandhill golf club on Friday 22nd august commencing at 10pm. This to acknowledge the milestone of our first two phases completing.

With weather more akin to the winter season the opening weekend of the new season was effectively wiped out with a blanket call off of all league fixtures for the junior league. Our senior squad had been scheduled to play their first home game of the season at our new grounds against Calry Bohemians. This fixture has now been re-scheduled for Sunday next at the same time.

The fist set of league fixtures for the new season have been announced. Our under 18 squad face a difficult opener away to boyle celtic on saturday 16th august at 2pm while our under 14 squad are out on thursday 14th august away to Yeats United with a 7pm kick off. Click here for all the fixtures..
