The club are absolutely delighted to confirm that Strandhill Community Park will be hosting a Glasgow Celtic community football camp. The dates set for the camp are July 27th to July 31st.
Our Colts section will end their season tomorrow with an annual trip to Galway. There are still some places that can be claimed by turning up at 9:30 in strandhill car park for the coach to galway.
With a major announcement pending in the coming weeks on a partnership with one of europes leading club clubs it was announced that the first part of the new partnership will be a summer camp from July 27th to 31st July. Chairman Mick McEnroe has asked all parents planning to put their kids on a summer camp to hold for another few weeks with details to be announced of the first camp.
The club has decided that this year there will be one awards ceremony for all of our youth teams in a the Glasshouse Hotel.
The club has produced its first coaching newsletter for spring 2009. It is hoped that this will be a quarterly edition.

The FAI Kick Start II course ran in Sligo on the weekend of February 28th and 29th. Well done to all the coaches from the club who qualified on that weekend.

Our under 8 Futsal sides were in action on Saturday morning last at sligo IT under the tutorage of Gerry Doherty, Robert Ryan and Peter Osborne. Our lads turned in some fine performances against some excellent Ballisodare United sides.
Our under 10 Futsal sides will be in action on Saturday morning next at 10:50am with matches against Dromore Villa, Western Rovers and Yeats United.
