Our senior squad had a good workout on Sunday morning last with a friendly outing against Sligo Rovers A squad. Sligo Rovers A team are now preparing for their new season so the friendly suited both sides.

Match day three and Strand Celtic under 16 girls start to hit form with a well deserved 5-1 home victory over Arrow Harps on Saturday Feb 6. Goals from Laurn Boles, debutante Emma Harte and a hat trick from Emma Hansberry secured the points in a very competitive game.

Our senior team saw three points slip away on Sunday morning last when after turning in one of their best performances for 75 minutes they let a three goal lead slip in the last fifteen minutes.
