UNDER 12 DEVT LEAGUE: Strand Celtic Whites 5 Boyle Celtic Cubs 1

The u 12 Development league kicked off in a dry Strandhill last Saturday. Strand Celtic Whites had a tight first half against a game Boyle Celtic side.

In fact Boyle took an early lead with a well taken goal following a mix up in the defence. After a period of pressure, Strand Whites opened their account with a decisive finish by Conor Burke. It stayed at 1-1 until half time. After a number of substitutions, Strand got a second through Matthew Conlon Oates and then a third through Finn Murphy. Both went on to score a second apiece before Conor Burke got his second. Sean Murphy finished the scoring. The team was ably led by their Captain for this game, Cian Muldowney.
