NINE COACHES ON FAI COACHING COURSE
By @ 11:16 PM :: 93 Views :: Club News, Coaching News

A number of our coaches and prospective coaches completed the FAI Kick Start I coaching course on Friday and Saturday last at the showgrounds. We had a number of coaches on the course including Eammon Kielty, Mirimam Cunninghan, Claire Kilfoyle, Aoife Grennan, Conor Gray, Carley Leyden, Brian McDermott, Conor Gray, Paddy Norman and Karl McEnroe. Well done to all for giving up their time to undertake the course.

Sincere thanks to Ryan Casey, FAI Regional Development Officer, for providing the course and to the Sligo Sports and Recreation partnership for funding support towards the course.

We are always looking for new coaches and have an urgent appeal out for people who might be interested for next season in helping out with our Colts section. As many of the coaches move up it is vital we get some new coaches in to help with our teams. We have teams at under 5, 6, 7, 8,9 and 10 levels with a mixture of boys and girls. We are determined to have three coaches with each age group to make it easier for both coaches and children. If you are interested in helping out next season please contact Director of Coaching, Maurice Monaghan, on 087 633 0670.

There will be a kick start two course run in Sligo on May 9th. If anyone is interested in attending please contact the clubs director of coaching, Maurice Monaghan, on 087 633 0670.
