Our under 14 green team drew their latest fixture in a game they could and probably should have won on Saturday afternoon last at an ice cold Strandhill community park. On the day we fell behind against the run of play early on but recovered well to dominate the early stages.

Our just reward came when a cross from the tireless Conor Cunninghan was turned home by the excellent Cathal Henry. It was great to see Cathal score after being out of action for some time. Strand went on to hit the crossbar and also see chances from Aidan Toal, Aiden Kenny and Joe Gorman go begging. Overall this was a good team performance that keeps the greens in line for a possible league semi final place.
