GREENS LINE OUT IN FRIENDLY WITH BALLISODARE

Strand Celtic Greens u 12 side had a friendly game with Ballisodare United u 12 Development side. To ensure that all kids got playing it was decided to play two small sided games running concurrently. This allowed all players a chance to showcase their skills in a cometitive enviroment.

For the greens, Hayden Impey was strong and aggresive, Donagh Crowne scored a piledriver of a freekick. Fergus Collins ran the pitch, Mathew Oates was tireless, Daniel Henderson scored a cracker while Ben Hamilton worked very hard. Brian Kielty used his speed while Jack McDonagh was steady at the back. Eoin Macken was very skillful in setting up and breaking attacks. Conor Burke ran his legs into the ground.

Each team tried to play football by passing the ball and using great skills in the process. The games were played in the right spirit and we thank Ballisodare for facilitating these games
