Strand Celtic have started a goalkeeping academy for all the young potential Shay Givens out there. The academy will start on Friday Feburary 12th between 6pm and 7pm.
The academy is open to boys and girls.
The schedule each week is:
6PM to 7PM : Colts goalkeepers (Born 1999 and 2000)
7PM to 8PM: Youths goalkeepers (ages 11 to 18)
All players who are interested in goalkeeping can attend, once they are registered with the club. Equally youth players who may not be playing in goals for their team can attend.
Players are asked to be on the pitch ten minutes before training starts with their gear and gloves. Note players should take both astro and pitch footwear each week as some training may be dependent ont he weather.
