Strand Celtic are holding an Information Evening in the clubhouse on thursday night next at 8:30pm. The purpose of the evening is to inform all our parents and members of all the work undertaken in the club and our future plans including the provision of a playground.
The information session will only run for one hour and start at 8:30pm. Tea, Coffeee and snacks will be available on the evening.
The club now caters for over 350 members ranging from the ages of 4 through to 60 with sections including:
Nippers - 4 to 6 years
Colts - 6 to 10 years
Soccer Sisters - Girls 6 to 10 years
Youth Boys - 10 to 18
Youth GIrls - 10 to 18
Senior
Mens Veterans
Ladies Fun Soccer
There is no obligation on people to get involved although that opportunity is there if people are interested. The primary purpose is to ensure that members, parents, supporters and sponsors are aware of the work being undertaken by the club.
It will ocver areas such as:
- Ground Development Plan
- Coaching Plan
- Fund Raising
- Social Committee
- Development of a new playground at the park
- Veterans Soccer
- Womens Fun Soccer
- Futsal
