Our first ever Glasgow Celtic summer camp was an outstanding success when held last week in Strandhill Community Park.

68 children between the ages of 6 and 14 participated in the camp and the quality of the coaching was outstanding. We had four fine days which was slighlty spoilt by a wild final friday. Despite this the kids really enjoyed the camp and the feedback was outstanding.

Club chairman, Mick McEnroe, thanked Glasgow Celtic in his closing camp speech when parents and children receibved their certificates, match tickets, Celtic Junior Club Forms and their Celtic Radio. The Celtic coaches called out all the kids and there was loud applause in our partially completed clubroom that is due to open in the coming weeks.

Well done to the Celtic coaches David, Graham, Barry and Greig. They certainly left their mark on all the kids, members and people in the village., Thanks lads and we hope to see you again next easter !.
