The club has decided that this year there will be one awards ceremony for all of our youth teams in a the Glasshouse Hotel.

The glasshouse hotel are one of our major sponsors and we hope to have a good night. This will take place in the on the weekend of May 29th at a venue to be decided. It was agreed that there will be a presentation night for all our schoolboys and schoolgirls teams on. It is hoped to have some of the Sligo Rovers players in attendance to make the presentations with a DVD of the season. Details will be confirmed this week by email to all managers.

It was agreed that there will be three awards for each team to ensure consistency and to avoid any problems between teams. The awards will be for:

• Player of the year
• Golden Boot for leading goalscorer
• Most Improved Player/Best Trainer

In addition all players who were selected for the FAI emerging talent or Sligo-Leitrim representative squads will be honored on the evening with a formal presentation.

An order is being placed for trophies for each team in the coming weeks from a single supplier, who has sponsored the club. All team managers are asked to email their award winners asap to the club email address strandceltic@a2zsoccer.com so that photos etc can be organised.

Team managers might try and get some photographs of their teams over the coming weeks, including a team photograph, and email these to the club email account - strandceltic@a2zsoccer.com - for inclusion in the program.
