Strand Celtic formed a goalkeeping academy in February 2010 with a view to helping our young goalkeepers get the specialised training that they require. The academy has two sections for our Colts and for our Youths. It is also geared towards boys and girls.

The academy is on two fridays in each month between 6pm and 8pm. The dates are maintained on the club noticeboard on our website (under news) and on the noticeboard in our clubhouse.

The 6pm to 7pm slot is geared towards our Colts goalkeepers while the 7PM to 8PM slot is geared towards our Youth goalkeepers. Players need to take footwear for both grass and astroturf each week.

The academy is open to BOYS and GIRLS.
