Strand Celtic is an active supporter of the Community Games teams in the Strandhill and Ransboro areas. Each year the club provides coaches, pitches and kits for our boys and girls teams.
The team managers for this years, 2008, community games teams are U13 5 a side [Martin McCabe] and for our under 12 eleven a side team [John McGovern]. Our 5 a side team went out in the group stages while our under 12 side went out to a stronger team and the eventual winners Ballisodare.
