Each year Strand Celtic football club runs an open day for the community of Strandhill and Ransboro. The event is run as a non profit making venture and its objective was to provide a fun day for all the children and members in the club and to increase the awareness within the community about the club.

With the closure of the club grounds for re-development of our pitches the club's open day was postponed in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

The event is run at the start of the season in either august or September each year. There are some photgraphs from previosu years events in our galleries.
